Our Teaching Staff:

 Sharon Marrell - Woodwinds

Sharon has a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from Bowling Green State University with a specialty in Woodwinds. She has been teaching for over 35 years. Her teaching method includes Incentives for the kids. They earn points by picking their best song or exercise and playing it well; tracking the amount of time practiced; fun sheets; and answering various music questions. Once they fill a sticker sheet they can pick a prize from the prize box (the whoopee cushion is a favorite!) This has been a very successful program that motivates the kids to practice and have fun playing.
