
Lessons are $15 per ½ hour lesson. One lesson each week and you pay at the beginning of the month for the entire month.
Make up lessons are available if given ample notice of cancellation.
Ages 5 to adults can take lessons on any of the following instruments:

Our Teaching Staff:
Sharon Marrell - Woodwinds, Piano and Orchestral Instruments
Sharon has been teaching for over 35 years. She has a bachelor of Music in Music Performance with a specialty in Woodwinds. She also teaches beginning orchestra instruments.
Incentives for the kids are also provided. They earn points by picking their best song or exercise and playing it well; amount of time practiced; fun sheets; and answering various music questions. Once they fill a sticker sheet they can pick a prize from the prize box (the whoopee cushion is a favorite!). This has been a very successful program that motivates the kids to practice and have fun playing.
Scott Tenney - All Brass, and Saxophone
Mr. Tenney holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Kent State University. He is currently in his 31st year as Director of Instrumental Music at Trinity High School in Garfield Hts., Ohio. Mr. Tenney has studied with well known musicians including: James Kirk, Harry Herforth, Roberto Curnow and Carmine Caruso. In addition to his current position as trumpeter in the Brass Works Quintet, Mr. Tenney performs regularly at weddings and with the Roberto Ocasio Latin Jazz Project. Mr.Tenney is also a member of the Ohio Music Education Association, Music Educators National Conference and the Catholic Education Association
Chris Young - Drums, Guitar and Bass Guitar
Chris has been playing, singing, and teaching for over 15 years. He Has studied drums with Dane Clark (John Cougar Mellencamp); Bob Mackee (Mike Douglas show); and Billy Coakley (Armstrong Bearcat Band). Chris majored in "Vocal Performance" with an emphasis in Opera and 20th Century Art Songs (believe it or not!). But . . . he really just loves to ROCK! He has toured the east coast and parts of Canada with local indie bands and has worked as a music director at a camp in Seattle Washington. Chris is currently playing drums and singing in the "Time Trax" band.
Eric Hankinson - Guitar, Bass Guitar
Eric has been a full-time, professional music teacher for the past eleven years, working with students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. During that period he has taught in excess of twenty thousand private lessons and currently has two former students attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Eric studied music at Buffalo State College and privately with several renowned teachers in Western New York.
